A new automotive bumper repair kit that repairs and fabricates tabs and reinforces cracks rather than replacing the entire bumper which saves money for insurers and customers while improving repair center profits is being introduced by Malcom Technologies of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Malcom’s Automotive Heat’N Roll® Bumper Repair Kit features includes a proprietary mesh, plastic filler material and a metal roller. Eliminating the need to replace bumpers previously considered non-repairable, the repair employs the Heat’N Roll® system after pre-heating the plastic bumper with a high temperature heat gun and then rolls the mesh into the softened bumper, encapsulating and reinforcing the bumper.

Allowing a repair shop to repair and fabricate tabs, reinforce cracks and then finish with a two-part epoxy filler, the Heat ‘N Roll was developed by Carl’s Collision Center of Fall River, MA and Malcom Technologies of Portsmouth, RI.

Check out the video demonstrating this system. The Malcom’s Heat’N Roll® Automotive Bumper Repair Kit complete with Heat’N Roll® instructions is available through Malcom Technologies.
